Summary: This luxury four star hotel has a prime location in the V&A Waterfront - one of the most popular tourism developments in the world, with views onto Table Mountain and an appropriate nautical theme to the hotel which gazes over the working harbour that hosts pleasure yachts, fishing trawlers, cruise ships and more. There is so much that will keep you busy at the Waterfront, from the aquarium to numerous restaurants, Robben Island ferry departure point, helicopter flips, shopping and more shopping.
Itinerary
The hotel is spacious enough to accommodate 236 rooms, as well as its guests' needs for individual space and serenity.
The 198 Superior Rooms are all decorated to a nautical theme - some display the dynamism of the harbour, others the quiescence of Table Mountain.
All rooms have individual aircon, television, tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, direct dial phones, electric razor plugs, hair dryers, TV with DStv and 24-hour room service. Our service ethic is one of the utmost efficiency, allowing you to leave everything to us and slow down to the languid pace of the Mother City.
Escapism is not only a state of mind; it's a place at the cosmopolitan Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town. That place is The Commodore, a Legacy hotel where stylish living, excellent service and a tranquil setting comes standard. Enjoy breathtaking views of the charming ‘Mother City' from the upper floors of the hotel's superior rooms or treat yourself to cocktails on the terrace.
