Johannesburg half day city tour that will collect you from your hotel at 13h00 and returns around 17h00.
Cycle Soweto full day tour  that collects you at 8am and returns you back to the hotel at 5pm.

Accomodation Description
Affordable accommodation in one or two bedroom fully furnished, self catering apartments. There are 19 one bedroom (includes queen size bed ) and 11 two bedroom (bedrooms lead off the lounge, the first bedroom has a queen size bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds) comfortable modern apartments which are serviced daily by reliable staff. The apartments also have an en-suite bathroom consisting of bath, shower over bath, toilet and basin plus a kitchenette with 4 plate stove and oven, fridge freezer, microwave, crockery and cutlery for 4 people, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and the lounge has a couch, two chairs, coffee and lamp tables, TV with SABC, M-Net and 5 DSTV channels.
There is a telephone in each apartment linked through the switchboard computers and internet is available. Linen is supplied and towels are changed daily.
Breakfast will be served in your apartment at the requested time.
Reception is open between 7am and 9pm and they offer a facsimile, message and laundry service, there is a security guard from 6pm to 7am and secure covered parking is provided. The establishment is owner run with the assistance of honest and reliable staff.

Johannesburg half day city tour
You will be collected from your hotel at approximately 13h00 and you will visit Constitution Hill, the home of South Africa’s Constitutional Court and site of the Johannesburg Old Fort Prison (closed Sat & Sun). We take a scenic drive through the arty and trendy quaint suburb of Melville with it's many bars, pubs, galleries, craft shops and restaurants. We stop at Newtown Market where a unique variety of African arts and crafts are for sale, then we head to visit Museum Africa, the innercity’s soul reminiscent of a 1950’s shebeen – Johannesburg’s premier cultural history museum.

Soweto Cycle Tour
We head to the bustling city for a day tour of Johannesburg, the hub of South African business. Entering Jozi – affectionately named by the locals, our first stop is the highest building in Africa.  The Carlton centre was built in the 1960’s and is 50 stories high.  From the viewing deck at the top of the building we are able to get our bearings of this vast city.  Our next stop is the Apartheid museum which depicts the rise and fall of apartheid in South Africa.
We make our way to Soweto in time for lunch and try the local cuisine.  After lunch we get together at the starting point of the biking tour of Soweto. You will be introduced to Soweto, its history and its people. More than three million people are living here speaking all the of 11 official languages of South Africa, you will be taught some of the most common phrases to be able to greet people as you are cycling along the streets. Speaking and interacting with the locals at a real level and not from the comfort of a closed vehicle. Learning about the different cultures and history of this famous city.  Go to places such as a former migrant workers’ hostel for men. Here you will be introduced to the culture and life today by your local guide. Continue to Meadowlands, famous for the forced removals from Sophiatown in the 1950's. Cycle through historical landmarks of the 1976 student uprisings and visit the memorial site of Hector Pieterson. You will also cycle down Vilakazi Street where Nelson Mandela used to live and where Bishop Desmond Tutu has his home. Finish the biking tour of Johannesburg off at the local shebeen, have a drink, play pool and dance to kwaito music.
This day tour of Johannesburg gives you insight about Soweto's many different faces, the Soweto uprisings and the resistance against Apartheid. You will also see and learn how the communities have changed and developed to what it is today.
